Digital Marketing & Social Media Lead
The Digital Marketing & Social Media Lead is responsible for performance of Ardent Mills’ digital communications content and properties, including all websites, social and digital media. Drive thought leadership, lead generation opportunities and corporate needs through various digital and social media channels.

Develop and manage the implementation of short and long-term integrated strategies across web, social, email and other digital properties and platforms to increase brand awareness and drive online traffic and lead generation.
Build and implement creative strategies to grow email marketing platform and Ardent Mills’ overall digital community.
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
Manage a digital content editorial calendar, driving compelling email journeys, web content, blogs and other digital media.
Oversee management of social media strategy and channels to drive customer engagement and growth as well as employee branding and recruitment.
Identify new technologies or capabilities to keep Ardent Mills on the cutting edge of digital communications.
Lead agency partners in developing digital strategy and content.
Collaborate with Marketing, HR, Communications and IT to optimize websites and social media to meet business needs.
Set targets and track, report, and analyze key digital communication metrics and compare to external benchmarks.
Essential skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on marketing, communications or business or equivalent work experiences.
Minimum of three years of experience in Marketing, Communications or Journalism.
Ability to demonstrate proven creative talent and originality.
Applies in-depth marketing expertise across multiple areas (4Ps of Marketing) in contributing to the strategy and execution of the different aspects of the Customer/Product plans.
Strong understanding of digital communication strategies and comfort in the development and integration of these strategies into business campaigns and activations.
Stays abreast of digital trends by actively scanning news, media and industry experts.
Recognizes the impact of new technologies (i.e. Data platforms, marketing automation, e-commerce) and looks for ways to leverage in driving customer success.
Content storytelling experience in multiple channels including digital and B2B.
Strong relationship building skills to influence business leaders and work horizontally across the organization.
Can quickly and effectively shift approach and tactics based on audience
Ability to ‘get to the point’ quickly, explaining complex ideas, simply and in brand-aligned tone.
Interested in providing new approaches to marketing, challenges and learning new things.
Enjoys processes and the opportunity to analyze results and build recommendations based on success or challenges.
Effectively uses data and insights to support business cases
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrates the ability to be self-directed while also having the ability to work in collaborative environments.
Good to have:
Specific experience leading digital and social strategy in an organization, as well as content development
Experience managing agency partners or experience in-house in an agency environment
Proven ability to work with internal and external partners to deliver meaningful content via digital and social channels to generate leads and drive revenue growth
