Product Marketing Lead
The Product Marketing Lead directs and leads product marketing and cross-functional teams to deliver profitable, focused, yet comprehensive and innovative portfolio that addresses customer and consumer insights and drives growth against the CLIMB. This role will synthesize market, consumer, product and competitive inputs into driving highest possible revenue for the business. This role will be involved in product pricing, product strategy and analysis, and product positioning. This role must understand their product’s market, buyer personas, and be able to deliver the business results in terms of sales.

Define focus products (both core and Annex) and their initiatives for right portfolio to maximize sales growth and revenue enhancement.
Drive development of communication and tools to support focus products, working with Marketing, Communications and Sales.
Gather and leverage market data, consumer and customer insights to define focus products and size of prize to feed broader organization.
Stay in line with customer needs and market trends.
Identify space for new products and innovation, with clear value propositions for different customer segments
Partner with R&D and Culinary to create new end product applications to meet customer needs.
Ensure successful and integrated product launch for the product, new product features, and product solutions. Also post launch obligation of ensuring the product constantly grows in the market; and the product is constantly moving from awareness to adoption in new market segments.
Manage packaging across portfolio to enhance sales opportunities and drive efficiencies for AM
Refine and implement product/brand architecture on core business and align to systems and reporting
Collaborate with other marketing functions to drive packaging, availability, marketing promotions of products to maximize visibility, accessibility and appeal to customers
Set targets and manage, monitor and measure effectiveness of product and innovation initiatives
Essential skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on marketing, communications and business; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of marketing insights experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Specific experience in marketing management of business-to-business (B2B) service &/or product industry preferred.
Applies in-depth marketing expertise across multiple areas (4Ps of Marketing) in contributing to the strategy and execution of the different aspects of the Customer/Product plans.
Applies in-depth market understanding and consumer/customer insights to build strong product strategies and plans.
Strong knowledge of the Ardent Mills business, products, customers and brand.
Ability to drive business and investment strategy based on category and product plans.
Experience specifically dealing with product positioning, pricing and packaging.
Vast experience in the creation and execution of highly detailed go-to market product plans.
Demonstrates ability to manage complex portfolio, driving simplicity and structure through rationalization, filling gaps and identifying new categories for future growth.
Looks at data from a strategic point of view and at ‘root-cause’ analysis.
Supports every dialogue or presentation with evidence, data and insights.
Connects the dots and put things into context for the ‘big picture’.
Proven ability to conduct market analysis and be able to effectively present product pricing considerations, product messaging, product development, etc that will optimize the product’s sales and business revenue.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills, as well as a passion for products analysis, competitive analysis, and market dynamics.
Strong ability to synthesize market data and provide solutions even on short notice or constraint deadlines.
Possess a creative ability to craft product messaging that resonates and connects with the diverse demographics of the business’s customers as well as for the stakeholders to whom they will have to answer to directly for the activities and performances of the product marketing team.
Strong relationship building skills to influence business leaders and work horizontally across the organization.
Can quickly and effectively shift approach and tactics based on audience.
Excellent creative skills that will facilitate the differentiation of the product
Must be decisive, iterative and agile
Possess an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment
Be proactive and disciplined in following through with set priorities and programs
Display calmness and composure in uncertain and strenuous situations.
Demonstrates a strong grasp of Targeting, Segmentation and Customer Strategy to contribute to the Commercial Strategy and deploy initiatives successfully within priority segments.
