The Macon facility makes pastry and cake flours by grinding soft red winter wheat.

Where does Loudonville get its wheat?

Macon used to source most of its wheat from local farmers. Now Macon receives a mixture from the surrounding states and even Illinois, due to the decrease in crop locally.

Giving back:

Macon is very active with the local community. We’ve adopted on of the parks here, volunteer at the local food bank, sponsor the local FFA Chapter, sponsor the local Earth Day celebration annually, and much more.
