Description du poste
Sous la supervision du gestionnaire de la maintenance et du planificateur, le ou la mécanicien(ne) industriel(le) est responsable d’assurer le bon état de fonctionnement des équipements de production et des installations du bâtiment.
Responsabilités principales :
- Effectuer l’entretien préventif, correctif et prédictif des équipements industriels
- Réparer, ajuster et remplacer les composantes mécaniques (roulements, courroies, chaînes, moteurs, etc.)
- Compléter les bons de travail et documenter les interventions effectuées
- Collaborer avec les équipes de production afin de réduire les arrêts non planifiés
- Réaliser des inspections de maintenance prédictive
- Respecter et faire respecter les règles de santé et sécurité
- Collaborer avec l’équipe de maintenance et l’électrotechnicien de soir
- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe selon les besoins.
Qualifications requises
- Minimum de 1 an d’expérience en mécanique industrielle
- DEP ou DEC en mécanique industrielle
- Bonne capacité d’analyse, de diagnostic et de résolution de problèmes
- Sens de l’observation et esprit critique pour la maintenance prédictive
- Souci du travail bien fait et sens des responsabilités
- Capacité à partager ses connaissances et bonnes pratiques
- Participation aux activités d’amélioration continue (5S, etc.)
Autres atouts
- Certificat en mécanique de machines fixes, classe 4 (ou intérêt à l’obtenir)
- Expérience en ferblanterie et en soudure
- Connaissances de base en électricité industrielle
- Formations en cadenassage, travail en hauteur, espaces clos
- Cartes de chariot élévateur, nacelle

Industrial Mechanic – Maintenance
Position: Evening work schedule: 40 hours per week
Salary: $40.55 to $42.39
Job description
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager and the Planner, the Industrial Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the proper operation and reliability of production equipment and building facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on industrial equipment
- Repair, adjust, and replace mechanical components (bearings, belts, chains, motors, etc.)
- Complete work orders and properly document all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize unplanned downtime
- Conduct predictive maintenance inspections
- Follow and promote health and safety rules and procedures
- Work closely with the maintenance team and the evening electrotechnician
- Perform any other related duties as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial mechanics
- DEP or DEC in Industrial Mechanics (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong observation skills and critical thinking for predictive maintenance
- High level of workmanship and sense of responsibility
- Ability to share knowledge and best practices
- Participation in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, etc.)
- Ability to communicate in French.
Additional Assets
- Class 4 Stationary Engineer Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in sheet metal work and welding
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems
- Training in lockout/tagout, working at heights, and confined spaces
- Forklift and aerial lift certifications
