 Financial Analyst- Capital/Fixed Assets

Your role:

As Financial Analyst- Capital/Fixed Assets you will be responsible for managing the set up of Capital Projects and Fixed Assets across multiple locations.  You are also responsible for the General Ledger Accounts for various Assets, Depreciation, and Intangibles.

Your responsibilities:

  • • Responsible for understanding Capital Investment Request (CIR) process and payback calculations.  Participate in CIR preparation, review for accuracy, and facilitation of approval process. 
  • Responsible for performing capital accounting functions including generation of purchase requisitions, forecasting, monitoring of expenses, depreciation entries, cost accruals, preparing financial reports and balance sheet support.
  • Capital Forecast Management, Reporting on variances on Capital spend vs forecast
  • Lease Setups/Renewals- Lease vs. Buy Analysis
  • Maintaining accurate asset listing including additions, retirements, transfers, accurate book and tax lives while ensuring data integrity for all sub-systems utilized.
  • Develop best practices and benchmarking in the capital management and continuous improvement areas. 
  • Complete other projects:  Plant Training:   Capital Policies, Leases, New Procedures etc.

  • Demonstrated capability to collaborate and execute cross functionally
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strategic thinking to establish, improve and stream line processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), presentation and influencing skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Good to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Experience working in a business/manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Jaggaer
  • Prior experience in fixed assets/capital projects preferred

Physical requirements and working conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation):

  • Must be able to work at a computer all day

Other considerations:

  • General Ledger experience, including Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Familiarity with general expense/lease and capitalization guidelines
  • Experience with implementing, and monitoring internal controls and effective policies
  • Demonstrated leadership

Competitive Compensation:

We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $74,600.00 - $99,444.40, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - MIP, 5% Annual.
